Why Renata Pereira TV?
We know you have a plethora of choices for travel information. But we do hope to provide a unique perspective.
We look to really know a destination, not just fly in and out. We spend our own money at each destination, often extend a stay, plan trips in detail and jump off plan for unique adventures… hint: rent a car in Santiago, Chile and drive through those majestic mountains, SPECTACULAR!
Finding relevant, reliable and entertaining information is difficult. With a background in journalism, I love to tell stories so you’ll see me write posts, shoot videos and chat on social media sharing my experience.
In the end, we hope to provide a bit of detail, adventure, and inspiration whether you are a first-timer or a recurring visitor!
The real Renata Pereira, Journalist and Brazilian!
People living the digital life… Heard this story before? Well, I am, though it is hard work and costly.
I’ve actually been traveling my entire life since my parents and grandparents took me on my first trip. My great-grandma was traveling overseas at a time few people would think of it. Imagine, crossing the ocean in the old steamships!
I studied journalism because I wanted a job that took me to various places around the world. I am lucky in that I worked with FIFA and that has taken me to Thailand, China, Russia, Germany, Canada and at least 10 other countries.
I worked in Los Angeles as a foreign correspondent and that was a pretty cool gig, meeting many Hollywood celebrities, covering big city international news.
Now it’s time to own my own content, be my own boss and what better way than to share travel experiences.
I’m in this group. Here you can read more about my story.
